Renewals Due by Sept. 1st
Membership renewals should be made this month before the
lock combination is changed on September 1st.

There is a new website on line now waitsburggunclub.com. If you want to see anything added to this website, email the club from the website. We are trying to have a way to join or for renewals online. On the membership renewal form is a space for an email address if you would like to get other information during the year.
Election of Club
Officers at Sept. 3rd Thursday, Meeting
Annual election of board officers will take place at 7:00pm, Sept. 3rd, at the WGC clubhouse. Come show your support and consider filling one of the vital roles in our all volunteer organization. An executive committee meeting will be held, following the officers election, to plan Sightin Days if there are enough volunteers. Volunteers are needed for both events (more below).

Needed!!!
Our Sightin Days event needs several people that can assist shooters readying their rifles for hunting season. It’s important that the club have experienced rifle shooters on hand as this is open to the public and is very popular with non-members. Come join the fun and help our local shooting sports efforts.
We will have a Range Work Day on Sunday Sept 13th from 9:00-Noon to repair target frames and ready the range for Sightin Days. Sightin days will be Sept. 19-20, 26-27, & Oct 3-4, hours 9am – 3pm.
SHOOTING HOURS!!!
The hours for shooting are from 8AM to 8PM OR Safe shooting time because you can‘t see clearly for safe shooting when it to dark. We have a deal with the neighbors for these hours to keep everybody happy with the noise.
Range Abuse
Please STOP shooting golf balls, TV sets, water jugs and the like because most people that shoot these targets don’t pick them up. The mower does not like these targets & the TV sets and someone has to clean them up. After you get done shooting pick up your paper targets, the neighbors don’t like the mess.
